Recording to a tape
–– CD Synchro Recording/Recording Manually/Program Edit
You can record from a CD (or connected components) or radio. You can use Type I (normal) tape.
Recording from a CD
Steps
(CD Synchro Recording)

Load a recordable tape into the cassette holder.

Load a CD onto the disc tray.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly until "CD"

appears in the display.

Press CD SYNCHRO.
The tape stands by for recording.

To start recording on the side facing away from you, press TAPE nN until

Press DIRECTION (or DIR MODE on the remote) repeatedly to select " " to record

on one side of the tape, or "

Press TAPE X.
To stop recording
Press x.
Tip
For recording manually:
To pause recording, press TAPE X.
Press FUNCTION repeatedly to select
the source you want to record from.
Load a CD (or other audio source), or
tune in the desired station.
Press z REC.

the desired source.
