Click OK and then remove your CLIE handheld from the cradle.

Perform a soft reset of your CLIE handheld.

Restart your computer.

HotSync button.
Checking for an unnecessary device driver in the Device
Manager tab

Right-click the My Computer icon and then click Properties
from the shortcut menu.

• When using Windows 2000 Professional, click the Hardware
tab and then click the Device Manager button.
• When using Windows 98/98SE/Me, click the Device Manager
tab.

Check to see if there is a device with the "!" or "X" mark in
the list.
