Connecting a Power Source You can use either AC power or a rechargeable battery pack as a power source. Using the AC Adapter Plug the cable attached to the AC adapter into the DC In connector on the computer. Plug one end of the power cord into the AC adapter. This program allows you to restore the software titles that shipped with your computer if they become corrupted or are erased. It can be used only to restore the hard disk of the Sony computer you purchased. Select Yes, then press Enter. The notebook restarts. If your notebook continues to display the message “ Operating system not found,” and Windows does not start, contact Sony Customer Support. It is best to shut down your notebook using the Shut Down command on the Windows Start menu.
