Chapter 2 Installation and Connection

1. Flow Up to the Start of Operations

When using for the first time, complete the following preparatory steps.
Work sharing depends on the agreement between the customer and installing agency.
(1) Connect the necessary cables.
(2) Install NeoFace
(3) Turn ON NeoFace
(4) Default settings
(5) Register face information
(6) Start the operations

2. Items Necessary for Installation

Before installing Neoface, make sure that the following items are kept ready as required. Except for the supplied
accessories, the following commercially available items must be arranged by the customer or installing agency.
Parts shall be arranged by either the customer or installing agency depending on the agreement between them.
- External PC
- External display
- USB keyboard
- USB mouse
- USB DVD-ROM
・ Router
- Hub (STP compatible)
- LAN cable Cat5e STP
- Connection cable for DIDO connector *1
- Connection cable for power supply connector (Terminal 2 Pin) *1
*1 For cables to be used, please contact the installing agency, wiring contractor, or vendor of the gate to be connected.
