DISC FINALIZE
• This function works in both Movie mode and Play
mode. page 21
• To play the contents of a DVD-RW/-R/+R DL on other
DVD players/recorders/drives, you must fi nalize the
disc. When fi nalizing, there should be enough power
in the batteries. If the AC power adaptor is to be used,
make sure that the jack is properly connected. A power
cut during fi nalizing may disrupt the disc from replaying.
1. Slide the POWER switch downward to turn on the
power. page 21
2. Touch Menu ( ) tab.
• The menu will appear.
3. Touch Settings ( ) tab  "Disc Manage"  "Disc
Finalize" in sequence.
• If the item is not on the screen, touch up (
down ( ) tab to change the page.
• You can simply fi nalize the disc using the FINALIZE
button on the DVD camcorder.
• You can also use the Q.MENU; Press the Q.MENU
button, then touch "Finalize."
4. The message "DVD needs to fi nalize for other DVD
player or recorder to be played." will appear. Touch
the OK ( ) tab to confi rm.Touch OK (

• Disc information will appear.
5. Touch OK ( ) tab, then touch "Yes" to fi nalize.

• Choose "No" to cancel.
• The message showing that the disc is being
fi nalized will appear.
• When fi nalization is complete, the Finalized Disc
indicator will appear.
During fi nalizing, do not cause impact or vibration
to your DVD camcorder. This could cause a
malfunction.

• Para reproducir el contenido de un DVD-RW/-R/+R
DL en otros reproductores/grabadoras/unidades de
DVD, debe fi nalizar el disco. Al fi nalizar, debería haber
sufi ciente energía en las baterías. Si se va a utilizar un
adaptador de CA, asegúrese de que el terminal esté
correctamente conectado. Un corte de corriente al
fi nalizar podría impedir que el disco se reprodujera.

Puede simplemente fi nalizar el disco utilizando el
botón FINALIZE de la videocámara con DVD.
También puede utilizar Q.MENU; presione el botón
Q.MENU y, a continuación, toque "Finalize".
