Service shelf The service shelf is used to service an HPE Integrity MC990 X chassis located in rack slots U01 and U06 (the two lowest chassis positions in the rack). The shelf is placed on the floor in front of the chassis to be removed.
I/O expansion chassis The following external I/O expansion chassis are available for HPE Integrity MC990 X Servers: • 1U-high Magma I/O expansion chassis (provides four PCIe slots) • 2U-high Cubix I/O expansion chassis (provides two x16 GPU card slots) •...
The 2U-high Cubix I/O expansion chassis provides two PCIe x16 card slots to enable connection of graphics or other controllers to an HPE Integrity MC990 X system. The Cubix I/O expansion chassis connects to the system through a low-profile x16 host interface card (HIC) that is installed in the system chassis.
The 3U-high Trenton I/O expansion chassis supports a maximum of eight full-height, full-length PCI-X cards. This I/O expansion chassis is provided to support legacy PCI-X cards being attached to an HPE Integrity MC990 X system. Figure 5: Trenton I/O expansion chassis Specifications: •...

One 2-meter x16 PCIe cable is provided to connect the host interface card to the 3U expansion chassis. A maximum of two chassis are supported per partition/SSI. NOTE: The host interface card consumes one PCIe slot in the HPE Integrity MC990 X system. I/O expansion chassis...
Using APPWT on an HPE Integrity MC990 X Server The HPE Integrity MC990 X Server uses Average Peak Performance in Weighted Teraflops (APPWT) for export compliance. The system performance, calculated at boot time, must be lower than the allowed value which is either defined by a firmware default (1.5 WT with RMC versions prior to 1.2.1 or 16 WT with RMC version 1.2.1 or later) or an installed APPWT key.
A CLOCK ERROR!!! error indicates that the clock setting on the RMC could be incorrect. • A Checksum failure, invalid key, or Authentication has expired error indicates that the key has expired. Using APPWT on an HPE Integrity MC990 X Server...
