Getting Ready
n
Location Precautions
Use an electrical outlet near the Signage Unit. Always use the
Signage unit so that the power cord can be easily unplugged.
Be sure to keep all surrounding objects at least 30cm (11.8
inches) from the Signage Unit. Particular care is required to
keep objects away from the intake and exhaust vents on either
side of the Signage Unit.
Airflow from air conditioning equipment redirecting heat being
exhausted from the area around the Signage Unit lens can
cause heat ripples to appear in the projected image. If this
happens, adjust the airflow of the air conditioning equipment
or move the Signage Unit.
Do not use or store the Signage Unit in any one of the
locations described below.
On or near any device that generates heat (household
appliances, computers, etc.)
On any surface that is not firm and stable (on top of soft
material, etc.)
