Charging the Battery

Attach the battery and connect the AC adapter to the DC-in jack of the computer.
The battery will then be charged.

When a charge is complete, the Charge LED turns green.

Monitoring the Battery Charge

You can view the battery charge status by completing the following procedures.
Viewing through the Menu button
Press the Menu button and press on Battery.
Viewing through the Control Panel
Select the Start > Control Panel > Performance and Maintenance > Power Options >
Power Meter tab.
