The paper does not
feed.
The print is faint (light).
The paper cassette
cover cannot be closed.
· Make sure the lid of the paper cassette is
firmly folded along the fold (1)
( see page 14).
· Make sure the paper cassette cover is
securely closed ( see page 16).
· The paper may be dirty. Pull out the first
sheet from the back of the paper cassette,
and then load the paper cassette again
( see pages 14 to 22).
Make sure the paper cassette cover is securely
closed ( see page 16).
The parts indicated by "A" in the illustration
below have become stuck.
See the illustration and use the tip of a
ball-point pen to slide the indicated part in the
direction of the arrow to free it.

Push with the tip of a ball-point pen to slide it.
Free the part on the opposite side using the
same method.
