Convenient mode for easy shots with greater control over shooting
Shooting with Camera-Determined
Settings
Use Auto mode for fully automatic selection of the optimal settings for the
scene, based on the subject and shooting conditions determined by the
camera.

Shooting (Smart Auto)

Turn the camera on.

Enter
● Aim the camera at the subject. The
camera will make a slight clicking noise
as it determines the scene.
● Icons representing the scene (1)
and image stabilization mode (2) are
displayed in the upper left of the screen
( = 29, = 30).
● Frames displayed around any detected
subjects indicate that they are in focus.
