The oven cavity floor should accommodate an opening to allow a satisfactory flow of air to circulate around the appliance. Should the oven be placed under counter, below an AEG cooktop, be it either gas or electric, it is acceptable as long as the base of the cabinet that the oven sits on, has the centre piece of wood, as per the installation instructions, removed.
