It is important to the performance of the oven to allow sufficient air circulation around the appliance. All installation, adjustments and maintenance operations must be carried out by qualified technicians in accordance with the enclosed instructions and current installation standards.

  • Page 9 It is important to the performance of the oven and the protection of adjoining cabinets that the following installation preparation is observed. 1. The oven cavity floor should accommodate an opening to allow a satisfactory flow of air to circulate around the appliance. Should the oven  be placed under counter, below an AEG cooktop, be it either gas or electric, it  is acceptable as long as the base of the cabinet that the oven sits on, has the centre piece of  wood, as per the installation instructions, removed.  The oven requires a source of fresh air  preferably from below, a  minimum opening of 100 sq. in or 645 sq. cm will be sufficient. If the ...
