Configuring protect node for POS MR-APS
Purpose
Enters the redundancy configuration mode.
Configures an interchassis group within the redundancy
configuration mode and enters the interchassis redundancy
mode.
Configures the IP address of the peer member group.
Enables BFD on the POS link.
Exits the redundancy mode.
Selects and configures a SONET controller and enters
controller configuration mode.
• slot—Chassis slot number, which is always 0.
• bay—Card interface bay number in a slot. The range
is from 0 to 5.
• port—Port or interface number. The range is from
0 to 7 for Gigabit Ethernet.
Configures the controller with framing type. SONET
framing is the default option.
Sets the clocking for individual E1 links.
Specifies the STS identifier.
