    Getting your device ready Installing the SIM/USIM card and battery Before you can make a phone call using your Xda Zinc, you need to install a Subscriber Identity Module or Universal Subscriber Identity Module (SIM or USIM) card. A SIM/USIM card contains your phone number, subscriber details, phonebook, and additional phone memory.
