2 The Phoneline Ethernet Converter General Description The converter is designed for signal conversion between 1 Mbps phoneline networking and Ethernet. The 1 Mbps phoneline networking is a new technology that provides network connectivity over existing telephone wires without any impact on the voice service. The converter is a plug-n-play device requiring no configuration and is also fully compatible with all network protocols.

2.4.2 Power Connection To make the power connection, insert the round end of the power adapter to the PWR receptacle on the converter and the other end to an electrical outlet.

3 Installation The converter does not require any configuration. You can start using the converter by simply attaching the cables and applying power. Please note that the maximum distance between the converter and a phoneline networking switch is 500 feet (150 meters).
