Choosing General
Settings
TV Navigator provides the General Settings menu
to let you tailor TV Navigator to your needs. The
figure below shows the General Settings menu.
The table below shows all the options you can
specify in the General Settings menu and gives a
brief description of each option. What options are
available depends on your cable company.

Favorite Specify channels as
channels favorites; you can tune
to them with the FAV

Sleep timer Activate the sleep timer
so that TV Navigator
turns off the TV
automatically after the
number of minutes

Reminder Specify for which
timer channels, days, and
times you want to set
reminder timers
Power-on Specify what channel
channel the TV tunes to
automatically when
you turn on the TV
PPV purchases Review or cancel PPV
purchases
Purchase PIN Enable, disable, and
change the PIN you use
for purchasing PPV
programs
