The MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions software enables your CD drive to read
compact discs formatted under the ISO or High Sierra
standards.
Follow
the procedures here to install this software on your hard-disk
drive.

Reboot your workstation with MS-DOS

Insert the MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions diskette in drive

Type
a: and press <Enter>

Type
setup and press <Enter> to start the Setup Program
.
Note
The Setup Program locates all filenames on the default drive with a
.SYS
extension.
Only two such files are included on the MS-DOS CD-
ROM Extensions diskette.
If
you mistakenly start the Setup Program
on a diskette drive while operating from a different default drive (by
typing
a: setup as a single command in steps 3 and
4),
you may get a
long list of .SYS files that the Setup Program asks
if
you want to install.
The title screen displays and the program tells
you:
The following CD-ROM device drivers were found:
HITACHIA.SYS size

bytes
It
then asks:
Answer which of the following device drivers do you want to install?
