Web browser

Preparation for using web browser
In the FOMA terminal, the web browser is available for packet
communication (3G/GPRS) or connection via Wi-Fi.
Flow of viewing web pages

Connecting via Wi-Fi
Step 1: Determine utility form
•
For connecting to Public wireless LAN service/company LAN, ask a service
provider/network administrator about the required information for
connection.
•
For connecting under environment such as home, install an access point
and obtain necessary information for connection from the Instruction
manual, etc. of the installed access point.
Step 2: Make settings for Wi-Fi (P.90)
Step 3: Display a web page on browser (P.51)
Using web browser
Using web browser, you can view sites for mobile phone or PC sites on the
Internet.
•
Some web pages may not be displayed or may not appear properly.
Starting web browser

From the Home screen, "Browser".
Web browser activates and web page set as home page (by default,
DOCOMO MARKET (http://www.dcm-gate.com)) appears.

Return to the web page displayed previously.
b Go button
When displaying the previous web page by tapping the back button,
go to the web page before the page.
c Address bar
Enter a URL of web page or keyword you want to search.
d Update button
Update web page information/Stop the update.

Phone button
Display Dialer screen (P.66) (Some functions are restricted).

Memo button
Create memo.
g Switch/Add windows button
Switch the windows when web pages are opened in multiple
windows. Tap to open web page in new windows (up to 6).
