Using your Baumatic cooker hood

Before first use

IMPORTANT: THIS
RANGEHOOD IS USED FOR THE FIRST TIME.
o You should use a mild liquid detergent and a damp cloth on all the external
areas of your rangehood, before it is used for the first time.
o This will help to remove any residues from the manufacturing process.
To use your rangehood
o Make sure that it has been installed by a suitably qualified person, as per the
information contained in these installation instructions.
o Find the control panel, which is located at the front right of the canopy.
o The control panel contains switches, as shown in the picture below, which
perform separate functions.
1. Turn on the power; the buzzer
will buzz five times. The sound
shows that the appliance is
powered.
2. Push the low button, the
indicating light 1 turns on, the
buzzer will buzz once, and the
motor runs at low speed. Push
it again and the motor will stop.
3. Push the middle button, the
indicating light 2 turns on, the
buzzer will buzz once, and the
motor runs at mid speed. Push
it again and the motor will stop
IMPORTANT: IDEALLY YOU SHOULD SWITCH ON YOUR RANGEHOOD TEN
MINUTES BEFORE YOU START TO COOK, OR AT THE VERY LEAST WHEN
YOU BEGIN COOKING. YOU SHOULD ALSO RUN YOUR RANGEHOOD FOR
TEN MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED COOKING.
PROCESS MUST BE FOLLOWED
4. Push the high button, the
indicating light 3 turns on, the
buzzer will buzz once, and
motor runs on high speed.
Push it again and the motor will
stop.
5. Push the light button; the
indicating light 4 turns on, and
the two lighting lamps will come
on. Push it again and the lamps
will turn off. With every push,
the buzzer will buzz one time.
