Introduction The Network Recorder is a digital data recording and archiving system solution that receives video, audio and alarm log from network cameras and video servers from multiple sites in real time. 1.2.     Network Recorder requires database engine to run. Choose prerequisite(s) that is not installed on the PC. If any component(s) is already installed in the PC, it is not necessary to install again. Click the ‘Install’ button. To install software in a different directory, click the ‘Browse’ button and choose a different directory.

    Login Process Open the Network Manager program. User may open it by selecting the execution file through ‘Start’ menu [Start] – [Samsung Techwin] – [Network Recorder] or by double-clicking the execution icon on the background. Select user ID in the ‘Login’ window. User may see the entire list of IDs that are registered into the program by clicking on the drop down menu.

    4.1.1. Wizard Administrator may register digital video device(s) (IP video server and network camera) in the program by going through the entire process step by step in the ‘Wizard’ menu. The ‘Wizard’ menu includes both the device registration and camera assignment steps. Once the entire process is done, cameras appear in a recording status panel on the program.

    4.1.3. Assign Manager ‘Assign Manager’ is to assign components (camera, sensor and relay) from the registered devices to channels of Network Recorder program. Through this menu, each component of devices is mapped with each channel of Network Recorder program. After the entire process, the assigned component (camera, sensor and rely) appears in the mapped channel of Network Recorder.

    6.3. Tray Icon 6.3.1. Status Information Once Network Recorder program is installed on a PC, it is registered on ‘Start Program’ to the PC. Network Recorder starts recording automatically as soon as the PC boots up. Network Recorder program status is displayed through tray icon.
