Operating the Radio Using OSD
When reception of an FM program is unclear
You can switch to monaural reception. There will be no
stereo effect but the reception will improve.
Click STEREO/MONO repeatedly to select "MONO".
"MONO" also appears next to the frequency.
To restore the stereo effect, repeat this procedure to select
"STEREO".
To improve AM broadcast reception
Reorient the supplied AM loop antenna.
To change the AM tuning interval
The AM tuning interval is preset to 10 kHz in the factory.
If you need to change the interval to 9 kHz, do as follows:
1 Turn on the power.
2 Change the band to AM.
3 Turn off the power.
4 Turn the power back on while pressing SYSTEM POWER
and TUNING + on the unit.
After changing the AM tuning interval, reset the preset radio
stations. To reset the interval to the factory setting (10 kHz),
follow the same procedure.
To go back to the previous menu
Click RETURN or press RETURN on the remote control.
To exit to the main menu.
Click EXIT or press EXIT on the remote control.
To watch FM simulcast TV programs
Make sure that you tune in the simulcast program on
both the TV (or VCR) and the tuner.

You can store up to 30 FM or AM stations, and recall
them later with a simple click.
To assign names to the preset stations, see "Naming
Preset Stations".
Note
If the AC power cord is disconnected for about one week,
the preset stations may be cleared from the memory, and
you will have to preset the stations again.

Tune in a station you want to store in the preset
memory.

Click LIST to display the tuner's preset list.
