    BEFORE USING YOUR HEADSET Checking phone compatibility The Samsung Bluetooth headset WEP200 is compatible with most Bluetooth (see Glossary) phones that are compliant with Bluetooth version 1.2 or higher specification and support the headset and/or hands-free profile(s) . Ensure that your phone has Bluetooth capability by visiting your phone manufacturer’s web site.
  • Page 5 Put the headset in the case supplied with the headset and close the case. Plug the AC charging adaptor into the case's charging socket. Plug the AC adaptor into the electrical outlet.
  • Page 6 Charge your headset until the red light turns to green light on the headset. The headset will be fully charged in approximately 2 hours. Remove AC charging adaptor from the case. You are now ready to ‘pair’ headset to your mobile phone. If the headset has already been paired to your phone, then you can begin using it.

    ‘Pair’ to your Bluetooth phone Pairing will create a unique and encrypted wireless link between two Bluetooth enabled devices such as your Bluetooth phone and Bluetooth headset. Ensure the headset is off (see Turning the headset on/ off). Press and hold the Multi-Function Button until the blue indicator light turns on (approximately 8 seconds), then release.
  • Page 10 ‘setup’, ‘connect’, or ‘Bluetooth’ menu on your phone and then selecting the option to ‘discover’ a Bluetooth device. Your phone will find the ‘Samsung WEP200’ headset and ask if you want to pair with it. Confirm this by pressing ‘yes’ or ‘ok’.
