Mode dial: m
The TEXT mode 1s suitable for
recording a document to emphasize Its
character by the black and white
colors. The LCD screen also turns to
black and white, and the image is
recorded m the GIF format.

Set the mode dial to m.

Press
MENU.
The menu appears.
3 Select [MODE] (REC MODE)
with 4/F,
[TEXT]
with AR.
4 Record the Image.
The number of Images that you can
record on a "Memory Stick" (8 MB)

To return to normal
recording mode
Select [NORMAL] with A/V in step 3.

If the subject is not evenly illummated, you
may be unable to record a clear image.

Writmg and reading data take more time
than normal recording.

When the mode dial is set to S, A, M, or
SCN images can be recorded, but the
image may be bleached out or may be
turned black.

Remammg number of recordable images
