    Chapter 1 CAT5 System Overview § 1.1 System Description The CAT5 system is the ideal system for simplifying installation in residential compounds with a high number of users, developed with innovative technology, allows the installation of video intercom systems up to 239 blocks and 512 users per block, applying CAT5 cable only except the power supply to the system.

    The CAT5 system is flexible to meet all kinds of need in different structure; installer can install system they want according to the requirements. Below are the examples with different combina- tion of the system. § 3.1 One Entrance without Network This is the most basic installation, it applies to buildings where there is only one entrance, without network, so it can be connected without C5-IPC.
