Check
Is the [MIC ON] button in the microphone panel of
rekordbox off?
Is the jog dial dirty?
Does the jog dial respond when touched while
touching some other metal part of the unit?
Are you using the unit on USB bus power?
Is the charging mode of this unit set to "Charging
is possible when the power is on only" and is the
[STANDBY/ON] indicator red?
Is a computer connected?
Is the iPhone / iPad power supply off?
Is the iPhone / iPad battery residual power
exhausted?
Is the [STANDBY/ON] indicator flashing?
Remedy
Turn the [MIC ON] button in the microphone panel of rekordbox on.
An electrostatic system is used as the detection method in the jog dial of this
unit. Therefore, if the jog dial is dirty or the user has hand cream on their hands,
detection may not respond. When cleaning the jog dial, dry wipe with a soft
cloth. If it is very dirty, prepare a 5:1 or 6:1 solution of water and neutral deter-
gent, immerse a soft cloth in the solution and wring out well, then clean the jog
dial and wipe with a dry cloth after that.
If there is a response when touching the jog dial while touching some other
metal part of the unit, there is a possibility that the unit is being affected by a
device connected to the unit. Review the connection environment (installation
location, ground connection status, etc.) of the devices (computer, amplifier,
etc.) connected to this unit.
Only when the unit is connected to an AC adapter, the iPhone / iPad can be
recharged.
Connect the unit and the AC adapter, and then connect the iPhone / iPad.
If the charging mode of this unit is set to "Charging is possible when the power
is on only," the iPhone / iPad can be charged when the [STANDBY/ON] indica-
tor is green. If the charging mode is set to "Charging is always possible," the
iPhone / iPad can be charged when the [STANDBY/ON] indicator is green and
when it is red.
Disconnect the computer.
If the iPhone / iPad power supply is off, iPhone / iPad recharging cannot be
performed.
Turn on the iPhone / iPad power supply, and connect to the unit.
If the iPhone / iPad battery residual power is exhausted and the power supply
cannot be turned on, iPhone / iPad recharging cannot be performed.
Use the battery charger included in the iPhone / iPad to recharge the iPhone /
iPad, turn on the power supply and then connect to the unit.
Temporarily disconnect the connected iPhone / iPad, and check the connection
cable.
If operation is abnormal, or it won't start up, disconnect the AC adapter or USB
cable, wait for a little while, and then restart again.
If the symptoms still appear, put in a request for repairs.
When engaged in voice conversation or data transfer or receiving on the iPhone
/ iPad, sound interruptions (communication noise) may occur in the unit. If
these symptoms occur, change the iPhone / iPad install location or orientation.
If this still does not improve the symptoms, turn off the iPhone / iPad mobile data
communications and use the Wi-Fi connection or turn on the flight mode.
