DTC P1108 RADIATOR FAN HIGH SPEED CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

WIRING DIAGRAM
DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1) Connect scan tool to DLC with ignition switch OFF.
2) Turn ON ignition switch and clear DTC, pending DTC and freeze flame data by using scan tool.
3) Start engine and warm up completely.
4) Check DTC and pending DTC by using scan tool.
TROUBLESHOOTING
STEP
1
Was "ENGINE DIAG. FLOW TABLE" performed?

Check Wire Harness
1) Disconnect connector at ECM.
2) Check voltage between C51-25 and ground with
ignition switch ON.
Is it about 12 V?
3
Check Radiator Fan Relay
1) Check radiator fan relay 1 and 2 referring to
Section 6E3.
Are they in good condition?
ACTION
1. Radiator fan motor 1
2. Radiator fan relay 1 (High / Low)
3. Radiator fan relay 2 (High)
4. Radiator fan relay 3 (Low)
5. Radiator fan motor 2
6. ECM
7. "REAR DEFG" fuse (25 A)
8. From battery
9. Double relay
YES
Go to Step 2.
Poor C51-25
connection.
D "YEL/WHT" wire
open or short to
ground,
D "YEL/GRN" wire
open or short to
ground,
D Fuse broken
NO
Go to "ENGINE DIAG.
FLOW TABLE".
Go to Step 3.
Faulty radiator fan
relay 1 or 2.
