Using the Reset Button
If you forget the login password to the web management page or could not access the web
management page, use the reset button on the WS331a rear panel to restore the WS331a to its
default settings. Perform this operation with caution. After the WS331a is restored to its default
settings, all custom data and settings will be lost, and the password will be restored to admin.
1.
Connect the WS331a to its power supply.
2.
Use an eject pin to press and hold the Reset button for 2 seconds or more.
Importing the Backup Configuration File
If errors occur during configuration, or you want to restore the WS331a to the settings you are most
familiar with, you can import the backup configuration file to restore the WS331a to the previous
settings.
1.
Log in to the web management page.
2.
Choose Maintain > Device Management > Back Up or Restore Settings.
3.
Click Browse In the displayed dialog box, select the backup configuration file.
4.
Click Restore Settings and wait for the configuration file to be uploaded.
To avoid configuration restoration errors, do not disconnect the WS331a from its power supply
during the upload.
