The HUAWEI MediaPad T1 7.0 of the Wi-Fi only version does not support SIM cards.
Open the card slot cover.
Insert and press the microSD card into the card tray with the golden contacts on the card
facing upward. Then check that the microSD card is completely inserted.

in other dimensions as doing so may damage your HUAWEI MediaPad T1 7.0.
Close the card slot cover.
