ROTATIONAL SPEED CON-
TROL OF COMPRESSOR
According to changing inside temperature, the motor runs in
the different speed. In
normal, the motor run in the lower speed. (Energy saving &
lower noise.)
When powerful cooling is required, motor runs in rapid speed.

5.3.
WAITING
COMPRESSOR RE-STARTING
To re-start the compressor smoothly after compressor stops
and after defrosting, it does not actuate the compressor for cer-
tain period.
(After the power plug is pulled out, it is needed to wait for 7
minutes or above until plugged in again.)
Waiting time for compressor starting

Caution
At once unplug, wait for 10 minutes,and then plug in.
5.4.
HC refrigerant leaking detec-
tion control
• Cooling system malfunction on high pressure piping side
(High pressure side leak, compressor malfunction)
During compressor operation, if the freezer compartment
defrost sensor and freezer compartment sensor are 0°C or
above for 10hrs, "H35" is displayed.
• Cooling system malfunction on low pressure piping side(low
pressure leak)
If "H40" (IPM & compressor lock protection) is detected 2
times within 48hrs and compressor is able to start up, "H36"
redorded in history. ("H40" & "H36" are only displayed during
service mode.)
5.5.
PROTECTION OF INVERTER
CIRCUIT
When supply voltage drops, IPM protection operates, and com-
pressor protection operates continuously, compressor stops at
the moment and indicates "H41" or "H40".
• "H41":Under voltage protection control has trouble.
• "H40":IPM&Compressor protection control has trouble.
5.6.
Forced operation control dur-
ing signal malfuncton (during
H50 display)
In the case that IC1 and IC201 signal malfunction status contin-
ues for 60 mins or above, the compressor operates as follows.

5.7.
QUUICK FREEZING FUNCTION
Press "Quick Freezing" button, and then quick function starts

and LED display comes on.
It actuates the compressor continuously for certain period
regardlessof compartment temperature, by processing the
input from AT sensor. (AT: Ambient temperature)
When AT is 19 °C or above
When AT is 18 °C or below
REMARK: During defrosting, the quick freezing function
reserves. ("Quick freezing" LED flashes.)
After defrosting, quick freezing function starts.
5.8.

FC DEFROSTING CONTROL

Cumulating the compressor running time of certain period or
time after defrosting according to AT, FC defrosting cycle starts.
Termination is detected by defrosting sensor,
but maximum defrosting time is 60 minutes (Defrosting forcibly
stops.).

Defrost sensor terminates defrosting at +13 °C.

After 60 minutes of defrosting starts, defrosting is forcibly
stopped.
Then, compressor re-starts. (TIME SAFE FUNCTION)
5.9.
FAN
FREEZER COMPARTMENT
The fan motor (near FC evaporator) is controlled under below
condition.
• Rotation speed changes on 4 degrees according to ambient
temperature and PC damper.
• When freezer compartment door, refrigerator compartment
door, or ice compartment is opened, the fan motor stops.
• When compressor runs, the fan motor operates.
• After defrosting, FC fan motor forcibly stops for 8 minutes.
• During service function, this fan motor forcibly operates.
