For setting whether to stop the tape when the CTL counter reading
becomes zero during fast forwarding or rewinding. (This item functions only
in the CTL mode.)
0000 OFF 0: The tape is not stopped.
0001 ON 1: The tape is stopped.
For setting the operating method in the no-gap mode.
(Specifies whether or not to use the AUTO BACK function, which rewinds
the tape for a few seconds to eliminate gaps and distortion between
segments.)
0000 OFF 0: No AUTO BACK function.
0001 REC-P 1: Auto back is performed when switching to the REC PAUSE mode, after
which the unit remains in REC PAUSE status. (When PAUSE is
cancelled, the tape is advanced and then recording starts.)
0002 ALL 2: In addition to the functions of setting 0001 "REC-P," AUTO BACK is
performed when switching to the REC PLAY mode, immediately after
which the tape is advanced and recording starts.
For setting the status after cue-up.
0000 STOP 0: For stopping the tape in the stop mode.
0001 STILL 1: For stopping the tape in the still mode.
For setting the capstan lock mode.
0000 2F 0: Capstan locks at 2F.
0001 4F 1: Capstan locks at 4F.
For setting the type of battery.
0000 NiCd-12 0: 12V battery
0001 NiCd-13 1: 13V battery
0002 NiCd-14 2: 14V battery
For selecting the output picture in the STANDBY OFF (HALF LOADING)
mode when the TAPE/EE switch has been set to TAPE.
0000 DIS 0: The output picture is muted.
0001 STBOFF 1: The playback picture is frozen for output as soon as the STANDBY OFF
(HALF LOADING) mode is established.
For selecting the video output and audio output while the tape was being
ejected when the TAPE/EE switch has been set to TAPE.
0000 EE 0: The E-E picture and E-E sound are output.
0001 BLACK 1: The E-E picture and E-E sound are muted.
