Using a Cellular Phone with this Unit
Base unit CELLULAR SELECT button
({1} to {5})
The CELLULAR SELECT button ({1} to
{5}) shows the status as follows.
Status Meaning
Light off A cellular phone is either
not registered or
registered but not
connected to the base unit
(page 52, 53).
Yellow- The cellular phone is
green connected and the cellular
line is available.
Flashing: the cellular
phone is being registered
to the base unit.
Red (light The cellular line is in use.

Red A cellular call is being

Red A cellular call is put on

the answering system is
answering a call.

using a cellular line
L Before making or answering calls,
confirm that you have connected your
cellular phone to the base unit (page
53).

Dial the phone number. i {CELL}
L If you registered only one cellular
phone, skip to step 4.

Select the desired cellular phone.

When you finish talking, press {OFF}.

Important:
L Before making a call, check which
CELLULAR SELECT number the
cellular phone you want to use is
registered to. Confirm by pressing the
CELLULAR SELECT button to display
the registered cellular phone's name.

PHONE}.
