Removing the Battery

If the battery has been installed, it must be
removed before the SIM card can be installed.
To remove the battery:
Lift the bottom of the battery (1) and
then lift it up and away (2).

Installing the SIM Card

When you subscribe to a cellular network, a
plug-in SIM card is provided along with your
subscription details, such as your PIN and
other optional services.
Important! The plug-in SIM card and its
contacts can be easily damaged by
scratches or bending. Use caution
when inserting or removing the
card and keep all SIM cards out of
reach of children.

To install the SIM card:
1. Remove the back cover and battery.
2. Make sure to orient the SIM card with
the gold contacts facing down and the
corner notch positioned as shown, then
slide the SIM card completely into the
socket.
To remove the SIM card:
Gently slide it out of the socket.
