Using the Speakerphone During an Active Call

To enable the speakerphone feature while in an active call:

1. Touch Speaker
The Speaker button turns green and the speakerphone
is activated.
2. Use the Volume keys (located on the left side of your
phone) to adjust the volume.
3. To deactivate the speakerphone, touch Speaker.
Important! For more information, refer to "Responsible
Listening" on page 201.
Using the Mute Feature
You can temporarily switch off your phone's microphone, so
that a caller cannot hear you.
Example: You can mute the call if you want to say something
to someone in the room, but do not want the person
on the phone to hear you.
To mute your phone during a call:
1. Touch Mute.
The Mute button turns green and Mute is activated.
2. Touch Mute to deactivate the Mute function and
reactivate the microphone.

Bluetooth Headset

To make calls with a headset connected by way of Bluetooth:
1. Touch Headset.
The phone will scan for your Bluetooth headset and,
when found, connect to the headset.
The Headset button turns green and the Bluetooth
headset is activated.
