Quick Start
About 1 Sec. after turning on the unit, you can start recording to
DVD-RAM.
Power consumption in standby mode increases when Quick Start
is set to "On". The unit performs self maintenance for a few
minutes every morning starting at 4:00 am. The unit's buttons,
including [POWER 8], do not work during this process. (Self
maintenance does not start if the unit is on or if a scheduled
recording covers this time.)
Restore Default Settings
This returns all values in the SETUP menus, except for the clock,
channel settings, ratings level, and on-screen language, to the
default settings.
