    Introduction The D-Link DIR-822 is a wireless IEEE 802.11ac compliant device that delivers up to 3x faster speeds than 802.11n while staying backward compatible with 802.11n/g/b/a devices. This means you can connect the DIR-822 to a cable or DSL modem and provide high-speed Internet access to multiple computers, game consoles, and media players.

    Section 1 - Product Overview Features • Ultimate Fast Wireless Networking - The DIR-822 provides up to 300 Mbps wireless connection in 2.4 GHz band, and up to 867 Mbps* wireless connection in 5 GHz with other 802.11ac and 802.11n wireless clients. This capability allows users to participate in real-time activities online, such as video streaming, online gaming, and real-time audio.

    1. Why can’t I access the web-based configuration utility? When entering the IP address of the D-Link router (192.168.0.1 for example), you are not connecting to a website, nor do you have to be connected to the Internet. The device has the utility built-in to a ROM chip in the device itself. Your computer must be on the same IP subnet to connect to the web-based utility.
