TO REMOVE
CABLES,
REVERSE
ORDER-
1.
BLACK
cable first from chassis
and then
from the fully charged
battery.

RED cable
last from both batteries.

Replace
bulb in holder
and install
bulb
holder
securely
back into the hole in the
backside
of the grill.

Close
hood.
INTERLOCKS
AND
RELAYS
Loose
or damaged
wiring
may cause

tractor to run poorly, stop running,
or prevent
it from starting.

wiring.
TO REPLACE
FUSE
REPLACING
BATTERY

by allowing
a wrench
or any other object
to
contact
both
terminals
at the
same
time.
TO
Before
connecting
battery,
remove
metal

bracelets,
wristwatch
bands,
rings, etc.

Positive
terminal
must be connected
first to

sparking
from accidental
grounding.

Lift seat pan to raised
position.

Seat
Replace
with 20 amp automotive-type
plug-
in fuse.

REMOVE
HOOD
& GRILLASSEMBLY
Raise
hood.
Unsnap
headlight
wire connector.
Remove
retainer
clip and washer
from
right hand pivot pin.
Stand
in front of tractor.
Grasp
hood at
sides and slide
left removing
hood from
pivot pins and lift hood off of tractor.
When
replacing
hood,
reconnect
the
headlight
wire connector,
and reinstall
the washer
and retainer
clip on the
right hand pivot pin.
2.
Disconnect
BLACKbatterycablefirstthen
RED battery
cable and carefully
remove
battery
from tractor.
3.
Install new battery
with terminals
in same
position
as old battery.
4.
First connect
RED battery
cable
to posi-
tive (+) terminal
with hex bolt and keps
nut as shown.
Tighten
securely.
Slide
terminal
cover
over terminal
5.
Connect
BLACK
grounding
cable
to
negative
(-) terminal
with remaining
hex
bolt and keps nut. Tighten
securely.

1.
Raise hood.
2.
Remove
bulb holder from the hole in the
backside
of the grill.

throttle
control
has
been
preset
at
the factory
and adjustment
should
not be
necessary
Check
adjustment
as described
below
before
loosening
cable.
If adjustment
is necessary,

preset
at
the factory
and adjustment
should
not be
necessary.
