Function Name
PIM Port Interface Module (PIM)
Maximum 64 physical ports per PIM. Houses two batteries for
protection from short power interruption (for 30 minutes).
At maximum configuration, the system consists of eight PIM's,
and provides a total of 512 physical ports (64 ports × 8).

Maximum 64 physical ports per PIM.
Houses two batteries for protection from short power
interruption (for 30 minutes).
One PIM is required per Backup CPU System.
COVER PARTS Cover Parts Assembly
ASSEM One cover parts assembly is required for each PIM.
BASE/TOP Base/Top Cover Assembly
ASSEM One base and top cover assembly is required for each stack.
BATTM Battery Module for housing PIM or CS (ZT) backup batteries
Houses two pairs of batteries for protection from long power
interruption (for 3 hours).
