10.1.5. CONTROL BY FIELD-SUPPLIED ROOM
THERMOSTAT
In the case that a field-supplied room thermostat instead of
the inlet thermistor of the Indoor Unit is used, connect wires
as shown below. The required parts are shown in item
10.1.2.
(In case of "Room Thermostat (Cooling) function 01" Input
to #2 and #3 of CN3 and "Room Thermostat (Heating)
function 02" Input to #1 and #2 of CN3)

NOTE:
- When a field-Supplied room thermostat is used, select
the specified thermostat as below:
Contactor Load: DC 12V
Differential:
more than 1.5 degree
- Do not use a thermostat utilizing mercury.
- The Remote Control switch must remain connected to
the unit. When the power supply is restored, the Unit
must be started by pressing the RUN button. The
compressor will then operate under the control of the
field supplied thermostat. All other functions are
controlled by the Remote Control in the normal way.

10.1.6. REMOTE TEMPERATURE SENSOR
CONTROL
By using an optional remote temperature sensor, the
following are available:
1. The unit is controlled by the average temperature of the
inlet thermistor and remote temperature sensor.
2. In the case that the discharge air temperature exceeds
60 °C, the fan speed increases from "Medium" to "High"
or "Low" to "Medium"

NOTE:
1. The remote temperature sensor can not be used
together with the remote control thermistor (Refer to
the item 10.3.2)
2. During the heating operation, "Heating Temperature
Calibration" is automatically cancelled (Refer to the
item 10.3.2.
3. In case of using this remote sensor, select the location
for installing it as follows:
- Where the average temperature of the room can be
detected.
- Where the thermistor (sensor) is not exposed to the
sun light directly.
- Where a heat source is not near it.
- Where outdoor air do not affect the room
temperature when opening and closing doors, etc.
