  • Page 7 It is not necessary to unplug anything else for an existing installation, such as the PC or telephone connections. Unplug the installed external power supply from the back of the VoIP cable modem and store it in a safe place.
  • Page 8 Battery Installation Plug the keyed power plug on the PB1000 into the back of the VoIP cable modem. Plug the other power cord into the PB1000 and then into the AC wall outlet. The LEDs on the PB1000 should turn on as described on the previous page.
