Connecting DC Power to the DGS-3700 Series

Follow the instructions below to connect the DC power supply of the Switch to the DC power source.
1. The DC power supply has a three-terminal wiring block consisting of a positive (+), a negative (-) and a safety
ground terminal.
2. Firmly attach the DC power to the negative and positive contacts on the wiring assembly.
The black negative pole (-) connects to the -48V contact.
The red positive pole (+) connects to the -48V Return contact.
If available, an earth ground may be connected to the center contact post.
3. Tighten the contact screws to secure the connection.

NOTE: Use a minimum 18 gauge (AWG) wire.
All power connection wiring should conform to the rules and regulations in the
National Electrical Code (NEC), as well as any local codes.
A branch circuit over current protection must be rated between 2A to 10A.
