• Size of inserted image: Choose a size for images you insert into notes, relative to the
original size of the image.
• Location tag: When enabled, location information is stored in notes.
• Writing sound: When enabled, a sound plays when you write on the screen with your
finger or S Pen.
• Haptic feedback: When enabled, a vibration plays when you write on the screen with
your finger or S Pen.

Create a New Note
Use the following instructions to create a new S Note.
1. From home, tap

Create new note.
Use the S Pen to create content.

To use a template, tap

3. While creating a note, you can use these options:
Handwriting mode: Access pen settings for handwriting notes.

Eraser mode: Delete parts of your S Note.

Text mode: Enter text using a keyboard.

Photo note: Add images the Gallery or take photos of document.

Selection mode: Select a part of your S Note.

Undo: Undo the last action.

Redo: Redo the last action.

S Pen only mode: Switch between S Pen only mode and S Pen and finger mode.

Save: Save the S Note.

Tap Menu for more options:

• Insert: Choose items to insert into your note, including a voice memos, voice memos,
images, videos, illustrations, items from the clipboard, maps, items from your Scrapbook,
an Easy chart, or items created with Idea Sketch.
