Backup of system information

a. Set the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER CD-ROM in the CD-ROM drive, and boot the NEC
EXPRESSBUILDER.
b. When the NEC EXPRESSBUILDER becomes active, start the Offline Maintenance
utility by selecting [Tools] from the menu → [BIOS/FW/etc Update]
c. The following message appears. Floppy disk appended to Mother board for maintenance
is inserted, and hit enter key.
[BIOS/FW/etc Update]
Please insert the floppy disk which contains
"update module" into the drive.
[Execute]
d. Following message appears, and hit enter key.
[BIOS(FRU) Update]
The files needed for the update will be
Copied from the CD-ROM to the floppy disk.
[Execute] [Stop]
e. Following message appears, wait a moment.(about 2 minutes)
[BIOS(FRU) Update]
Now, coping the files needed for BIOS
Update
to the floppy disk.
Please wait a moment.
f. Following message appears. Remove the CD-ROM and hit enter key.
[BIOS(FRU) Update]
Please remove the CD-ROM, but don't
remove the floppy disk.
If you select "Execute", system will be
rebooted automatically.
And then update procedure will be executed
from the floppy disk.
