• Do not use any adapter plugs with
earthed (Class 1) appliances. Unmodified
plugs and matching outlets will reduce
the risk of electric shock.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not
immerse the cord, plug or motor unit in
water or other liquid.
Extension cables & class 1 product
• A 3 core cable must be used as your tool
is earthed and of class 1 construction.
• Up to 30m (100 ft) can be used without
loss of power.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or an
authorised BLACK+DECKER Service
Centre in order to avoid a hazard.

Use
Boiling eggs
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface.
(Original instructions)
• Pour the required amount of water onto
the heating plate (5), using the filling cup
(11).
Caution: Avoid injuries from the 'egg
pricker' feature on the base of the filling cup
(11)
• Fit the egg tray (4) and add required
amount of eggs.
• Place the lid (3) on top of the egg tray
(4).
• Connect the power base (6) to a suitable
supply.
• Press the power button (8). The indicator
light will light and the heating plate (5)
will heat up.
• The water on the hotplate will boil,
generating steam. The steam will
circulate within the system to cook the
eggs.
• When the eggs are cooked, the product
will stop working.
• Disconnect the appliance from the
electrical supply and remove the eggs for
serving.
• The appliance can be stopped at any
time by pressing the "OFF" button (9).
Caution: The egg cooker will generate Heat
during Cooking. Make sure lid is secure.
Warning! To avoid the risk of
injury, take care when removing
the lid. Steam may be emitted
during use.
Poaching eggs
• Place the appliance on a flat, stable
surface.
• Pour the required amount of water onto
the heating plate (5) & fit the egg tray.
