    CHIMNEY CONNECTION Chimney installation must conform to both national and local code requirements. The chimney must be lined with one 3" (76.2mm) diameter liner for intake and one 3" (76.2mm) diameter liner for exhaust.     76.1A PHAZER logs and glowing embers exclusive to Napoleon, provide a unique and realistic glowing effect that is different in every installation. Take the time to carefully position the glowing embers for a maximum glowing effect. Log colours may vary. During the initial use of the appliance, the colours will become more uniform as colour pigments burn in during the heat activated curing process.

    6.2.3 TURNING "ON" THE APPLIANCE Place the "ON/OFF" switch in the "ON" position by the receiver, refer to "INSTALLATION OVERVIEW" for location. Using the remote transmitter simultaneously press the large fl ame button and the OFF button until you hear a short beep, this confi rms the start of the appliance, you can then release both buttons. (The ignition process has begun once continuous beeping has begun).

    6.2.6 TEMPERATURE DISPLAY NOTE: Press the "OFF" button and the small flame button simultaneously until the temperature display changes from Fahrenheit to Celsius, and vice versa. When changing from Fahrenheit to Celsius the clock will change from a 12 hour to 24 hour clock, refer to "GENERAL REMOTE TRANSMITTER LAYOUT".

    6.2.10 LOW BATTERY Frequent beeping for 3 seconds when the appliance turns on indicates low battery on the remote receiver. The battery pack is located on the bottom right side of the appliance, refer to "INSTALLATION OVERVIEW" for location. Low battery indicator is in the top right corner of the remote, we also recommend replacing the batteries every two years.
