Open Source Software

The product (camera and included RM-Lite) contains Open
Source Software modules. For details, see
"ThirdPartySoftware-E.pdf" (Third-Party Software License) in
the OpenSourceSoftware folder in the LICENSE folder on
the Setup CD-ROM. Each module's license conditions are
also available in the same folder.
Software under GPL and LGPL
If you would like to obtain the source code under GPL/
LGPL, please request the source code by sending an
e-mail to nvsossg@canon.co.jp in either Japanese or
English language with identification of the followings:
1. Name of Canon product you purchased and version of
the firmware therein, and
2. Name of software modules of which you would like to
obtain the source code.
The source code will be offered for at least three years
from the date when you purchased the corresponding
Canon product. You may be required to pay the cost
incurred for the source code distribution, however, the
cost will in no event excess the cost incurred for
physically performing the source code distribution.

Security Export Control

This product is subject to security export control.
Therefore, to export or carry it overseas may require an
authorization by governmental agencies.
