prefix http:// in front of the address since
it will be added automatically.
Browsing the pages of a WAP
service
After you have made a connection to the WAP
service, you can start browsing its WAP pages.
The function of the phone keys may vary in
different WAP services. Follow the text guides
on the phone display. For more information,
contact your WAP service provider.
Note that if GPRS is selected as the data
bearer, the indicator
left of the display during browsing. If there is
an incoming (or outgoing) call during a GPRS
connection, the indicator
the top right of the display. The GPRS
connection is suspended.
General guidelines for using the phone
keys
• Use the scroll keys
browse the WAP page.
• To select a highlighted item, press

information about the current WAP
connection and the server.
Quit
- to quit browsing and end the call.

WAP direct calling

Certain WAP pages support functions that
you can access while browsing. This is
indicated on the WAP page. You can., for
example, be able to
• make a voice call while you are on a WAP
page.
• send DTMF tones while a voice call is in
progress.
• save in the phone book a name and a
phone number from a WAP page.
The phone asks for a confirmation before
carrying out the function.

Ending a WAP connection

When you are using a WAP service, press
Options
and select Quit. When
browsing?
is shown, press Yes.
