Making server settings using ARCserve

To register the necessary license data with the backup client, use the
backup software agent installation CD-ROM and install the backup agent
software into the backup client.
For details of installing the client agent software and license registration
procedures for each type of client platform, refer to "Release Notes" and
"Installation Instructions" on the CD-ROM, and the StorStation web site
(http://www.sony.co.jp/en/Products/storagesolution/).
Make server settings using ARCserve backup software.

Click "Backup & Restore" on the BSV-M1 Administration Menu.
You can also directly click "Backup & Restore", which is located below
"Backup & Restore".
The "ARCserve" page appears.
When you click an item in this page, the system prompts you to input a user
name and password to log on the ARCserve system. To proceed, use the
defaults below.
User Name : arcroot
Password : (none)
You can set the library and configure settings and perform backup and
restore operations from this page.
For more information about ARCserve, refer to the ARCserve Online
Manual. You can view the ARCserve Online Manual by accessing
"Application Manual" in the "Online Document Menu".
