Selecting the picture mode
You can select your desired picture type from four picture modes:
Sports, Standard, Movie, and Preference.
Sports Bright and dynamic picture (factory setting)
Standard Standard picture setting (factory setting)
Movie Movie-like picture setting (factory setting)
Preference Your personal preference*
*(see "Saving new preference" on page 42.)
"lb select the picture mode:
1. Press MENU, and then press "9 or !1_until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or i, m select MODE.
3. Press "9 or !1_to highlight the mode you prefer.

Note:
If you select one of the factoo,-setp_cture
modes (SPORTS,STANDARDS,or MOVIE.)
and then change a picture quality setting (for
example, increasethe contrasO,the picture
mode automatically changesto
PREFERENCEin the Picture menu.
Tosaveyour new pJcturequality settings,you
must select SAVENEW PREFERENCE (see
page 42) before closing the Picture menu or
the TV will return to the previouspicture
mode.

Adjusting the picture quality
_m can adjust the picture qu_ity to your person_ preferences,
including the contr_t, brightness, color, tint, sharpness, flesh tone,
noise reduction and color temperature.

"lb adjust the picture quality:
1. Press MENU, and then press 4 or !1_until the PICTURE menu
appears.
2. Press • or A until the item you want to adjust is highlighted.
3. Press < or !_ to adjust the level.

The PIC£URE quality adjustments you made can be saved in the
"l_V'smemory with the SAVE NEW PREFERENCE feature (see p_e
42). You can keep these settings or choose factory set options, as
described under "Selecting the picture mode" above.
