Make sure ...
• Use the remote control for this procedure.
• TV/VCR power must be turned on.
• Insert a prerecorded tape.
• Before playback, follow steps below.
This function enables you to improve the picture quality
when playing back worn cassettes such as rented tapes.
1 Insert renLq tape into VCR
Begin pDyback.

Press the PLAY/A or STOPIY

Exit the Rental setting
Press the MENU
button to return to the TV mode.

Start playback
Press the PLAY button
to start playback.
"RENTAL
PLAYI_"
appears.
• Once you select the Rental mode, it stays in effect
even after you turn off the TV/VCR.

Repeat
steps
[1] to [3]. Then press the EP_cVD/I_ or
REW/-ql button so that [OFF] appears on the TV screen.
Press the MENU button to return to TV mode.
The TV/VCR
has the auto repeat function
that allows
you to repeat a tape indefinitely
without
toughing
the
PLAY button.
ALL REPEAT:
Repeats playback
from the beginning
to
the end of the tape.
BLANK REPEAT:
Repeats
playback
from the begin-
ning to a blank pan;, which is blank for more than 10
seconds.
NOTE:
All buttons except the POWER
and STOP
buttons
do nat work during Repeat Playback.
Always set the Repeat Playback
to [OFF] when
not using thi _ function.
