Downloading MPEG-4 Movies to a Computer
Users of Windows 98 must install the DVC Storage Driver to download
MPEG-4 movies (
1.
Connect the power adapter to the camcorder.
2.
Turn the POWER switch to PLAY (VCR) and move the TAPE/
CARD switch to CARD.
3.
Press the CARD STILL/MOVIE button.
4.
Connect the camcorder to the computer using the supplied
USB cable (
• With Windows Me, Windows 2000 and Windows XP, the driver will be
installed automatically the first time you connect the camcorder to the
computer.
• Users of Windows 98 must install the DVC Storage Driver using the
procedures in Installing the DVC Storage Driver (

In Windows Explorer, double-click the [CANON_DV] icon
followed by the [SD_VIDEO] and [PRL***] folders.
A number appears in place of the asterisk. Select the one that contains the
movie file you wish to download.
