Cooling air flow
Provide the drive with the amount of clean cooling air given in
NEMA data
(page 114).
Cable channel in the floor below the cabinet
When a cable channel is constructed below the cabinet, make sure that the cabinet
weight is on the sections that the floor carries.
Example cabinet frame viewed from above
With heavy cabinets, support
the structural C-sections from
below.
Attaching the cabinet to the floor and wall
Attach the cabinet to the floor and wall/roof according to the panel builder's
instructions, for example, with outside brackets or holes inside the cabinet.
Electric welding
It is not recommended to fasten the cabinet by welding.
If the preferred fastening methods (clamp or bolt through the holes in the cabinet)
cannot be used:
Connect the return conductor of the welding equipment to the cabinet frame at the
bottom within 0.5 m of the welding point.
WARNING! If the welding return wire is not connected correctly, the welding
circuit can damage electronic circuits in the cabinet. Do not inhale the
welding fumes.

Cables
Prevent the cooling air flow from the cable
channel to the cabinet by bottom plates. To
ensure the degree of protection for the cabinet
use the original bottom plates delivered with the
unit. With user-defined cable entries take care of
the degree of protection, fire protection and EMC
compliance.
